My family celebrated Valentine’s Day early this year. My son is going with his grandparents this weekend so my husband and I can have an anniversary weekend. We usually have dinner at home for Valentine’s Day, but I do try to cook something special. I “made” Stuffed Shells in a pink sauce. It’s so easy and inexpensive.
I bought stuffed shells from Aldi for $1.99. Then I took a jar of Alfredo Sauce and put 1/2 can of tomato sauce in it.
Shake it up and then you have a pink sauce. It’s easy and can be used with any kind of pasta.
Once the shell were done baking I added sun dried tomatoes for little hearts on top. We just served them with chocolate covered strawberries and veggies and dip. It’s easy and inexpensive way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
How are you frugally celebrating Valentine’s Day?
