My family loves to eat apples. With apples prices so cheap and me now storing apples I was looking for a yummy dip to make. Since Salted Caramel is really big right now I figured I would give that a try. It is so easy to make and only takes 3 ingredients. Start by putting a can of sweetened condensed milk in an oven proof container.

IMG_0152Cover the container with aluminum foil and set in a second oven proof bowl. Fill the second oven proof bowl with water so that it is at least 1/2 of the way up the first bowl.

IMG_0156Put in an oven heated to 425 degrees. Stir every 30 minutes. After about an hour and a half it should be done. It will be much thicker and look about like butterscotch pudding.
Stir until all the lumps are gone. Once it gets to room temperature you can put it in the refrigerator.

IMG_0157Before serving melt a 1/8 of a cup chocolate chips in the microwave until melted. Drizzle melted chocolate on top. Then sprinkle about 1/2 Tablespoon sea salt on top. It was great with apples or pretzels. Enjoy!
