In my old house I had a pot rack above my island and I would always clean my copper pots. When we moved I just started storing the pots in the kitchen cabinets and hadn’t cleaned them in years. I noticed how dirty and dingy they have been looking lately, so I pulled them out for a shine today.
It’s so easy to do. All you need is a lemon and salt. Squeeze a little bit of the lemon juice in a small bowl. Then add enough salt to make a paste.
I use a spoon to pour the paste over the copper. As soon as you pour the mixture on you notice it start to work. You won’t need to scrub much at all.
I just use a cloth to spread the scrub all around it and let it sit for about a minute. Then wash it off. Your pots will look so much better!
It only takes a few minutes to do, but I am so happy to have my pots shining again.
