Looking for a sweet treat this summer? My family loves these fruit & yogurt bites that I make. They are a great cold treat for the hot days of summer. Plus, I made them with Greek yogurt so they have some protein in them. They only take a few minutes to make and 30 minutes in the freezer.

All you need to make them is yogurt and fruit. I choose strawberries and blueberries so they would be red, white and blue for the 4th of July.

Place about 1 1/2 cups of yogurt in a zip lock bag. Close the top of the bag.  Cut a corner off the bag.

Pipe the yogurt on to wax paper, or a Silpat mat that is on a cookie sheet. I like to make them about the size of a quarter. You can make them bigger or smaller if you want. I could do around 25 with the yogurt. IMG_3571.JPG

Once I had piped all of the yogurt out I used the blueberries and cut up strawberries. I just pressed them into the yogurt.

When all the berries have been pressed into the yogurt place them in the freezer for 30 minutes. When they are all frozen you can remove them from the freezer. Place them in a tupperware or large zip lock bag and store them in the freezer.  Enjoy!
