I had a reader ask me the other day about Meijer Pharmacy coupons. I realized although I often use the Meijer Pharmacy Coupons and Rewards, I really haven’t mentioned much about them.
Meijer has two ways to save money, the pharmacy coupons and the pharmacy rewards. The pharmacy coupons print from the Catalina machines. They seem very random in how they print. I try to use the self checkouts so I increase my chances of getting one. Usually someone at one of the other 6 checkout lanes will leave theirs, so I will grab it. I have also purchased them on Ebay before. We fill 5 prescriptions a month, so I think it is worth spending $10 on Ebay for 4 or 5 of them.
Some of the coupons are for $20 off a new or transferred prescription and some are for $10 a refill. These can’t be used on medicines that are free from Meijer. If they are free because of a prescription card or insurance than you can use one. I have found once I use a $20 coupon I usually get a $10 coupon from the pharmacy Catalina machine.
These help out a lot with the grocery bill. Often by the time I use coupons and a $20 off coupon from the pharmacy, I am paying just a few dollars for my groceries that week.
The second way to save money is by using the pharmacy rewards. You can find the pharmacy rewards under the mperks. Click on rewards and then pharmacy. You will need to accept the terms and conditions.
Every time you pick up a prescription you can enter your mperks information. Then for every 5 prescriptions filled you can save $10 off groceries. There are other rewards you can choose from but this is my favorite. You will receive credit for a prescription even if it is a free Meijer prescription. The best part is the Meijer pharmacy rewards can be used with the Meijer Pharmacy coupons.
So if you fill 5 prescriptions and use a $10 coupon each time plus enter your mperks you will save $60 on groceries. This is a great way to lower your grocery bill just by using their pharmacy.
