I remember when we bought our house 7 years ago. We bought in April and I couldn’t wait to decorate for Christmas. Our other homes had been much smaller and couldn’t hold much Christmas decorations. But our new home was much bigger and I started planning. Unfortunately, having a working kitchen and a roof that didn’t leak had to come before Christmas decorations. So my budget was somewhere between $0 and $10 dollars. I wanted to have a little bit of Christmas in every room.
I found these great little berry sprigs at the craft stores for cheap. I decided to buy around $5 worth to see what I could do with them. I quickly learned they are so great for decorating. They don’t take up much space so they are great if you don’t have a large storage area. They also can be added to almost any room. My favorite places to put them are around the candles in the house.
I put them around the tops of the mirrors.
I also put them in flower arrangements I have around the house.
The ideas are endless on what you can do with these. Michaels currently sells them for only $.65 and they have multiple different styles. For around $5 to $10 you can easily add a little bit of Christmas to every room in your house.
